Granola by Kathy Stephens



7 cups oatmeal (not instant)
2 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
1 c. of each: sunflower seeds, raisins, flaked coconut, nuts, whatever else you want
1 c. powdered milk
1/2 c. sesame seeds

Stir all of that together and then blend the following in a blender:
1 c. oil
1 T. salt
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. honey
1/2 c. water
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 tsp. maple flavoring

Pour over dry ingredients and mix well. Bake in greased pan at 300 degrees for about 20-30 minutes. Stir about every 5 minutes.
