Granola Bars



24 servings
3 ½ cups quick-cooking oats
1 cup raisins, optional
½ cup chopped nuts
2/3 cup oil
¼ cup brown sugar
¼ cup honey
1 egg, beaten
½ tsp. vanilla
½ tsp. salt

Combine all ingredients and mix well. Press firmly into a 9x13 inch pan sprayed
with cooking spray or oil. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Cut; then cool in
pan. Store in tightly covered container in cool, dry place or in refrigerator.
Variations: 1) Replace the raisins with chocolate chips. 2) Replace the oil with
applesauce and add cinnamon. 3)Replace all or part of the oil with peanut butter.
