When we last went to visit my sister Alesha in Washington, she made these awesome crazy good cookies. I'm not sure what they are called, but they are Sooo good!
UPDATE- Emily now tells me they are called Oatmeal Scotchies, funny cause I would have named them 'Super-awesome-really-yummy-good-cookies-with-toffee-in-them'. Here's the recipe:
2 c. brown sugar, packed
3/4 c. butter
2 eggs
1 c. fine coconut
2 1/4 c. flour
2 c. oatmeal
1 t. salt
1 t. baking soda
1 t. vanilla
2 t. baking powder
1 c. heath toffee bits
Mix in order given after creaming butter, eggs, and sugar. Form into balls and bake for 10 minutes at 375 degrees.

You should write and photograph for Food Magazine or something, Isaac! Looks like you added choc chips--even yummier if that is possible!
Hey thanks, Alesha. I do consider myself an expert on food, since I have eaten it almost every day for the last 27 years. I am not as much of an expert on magazines, unfortunately... I don't think it would work out.
Also, choc chips do make it even more extra yummier!
yum! I'm going to have to try these! Good thing Alesha's ancestors are from Scotland...
